What Type Of White Person Are You?

The late Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad, a former Nation of Islam official and former Chairman of the New Black Panther Party, used to audaciously assert, "There are only two kinds of white people: bad whites and worse whites."
The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan sagaciously suggests, “There are two kinds of white people: the white people who are sincere and want justice, and the white people who knowingly uphold a system of oppression.”
As a result of my analysis of the historical, social, political, and economic data related to the African (Black) experience in amerikkka, viewed through a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist lens, the brutal oppression that Black people have suffered since the beginning of our sojourn in amerikkka, and my own personal experience as a Black man living in this wicked country, my sentiments about white people have fluctuated between what Dr. Khalid Muhammad used to assert and what Minister Louis Farrakhan suggests.
Our collective experience in this land is profoundly and poetically punctuated by the words in the second stanza of the Black National Anthem, penned by the prolific genius of James Weldon Johnson, which states:
Stony the road we trod
Bitter the chastening rod
Felt in the days when hope unborn had died
Yet with a steady beat
Have not our weary feet
Come to the place for which our fathers sighed?
What I love about Dr. Khalid Muhammad is that he utilizes a teaspoon of terms to convey a ton of truth.
To the white people who would be categorized in the latter categories of both of these Black giants when it comes to the two kinds of white people that they classified, I say to you that no one is asking you to apologize for your abhorrent, backbiting, cruel, demonic, enslaving, fucked up, ghastly, hateful, ignorant, jealous, knavish, lazy, monstrous, narcissistic, obnoxious, pathetic, quarrelsome, raping, scheming, thieving, ugly, venomous, wicked, xenophobic, yellow-bellied, zero ancestors. However, we are demanding that you dismantle the systems of oppression that they erected and that you maintain and benefit from. In addition, we are demanding that you pay us reparations for over 400 years of oppression.
As a result of my examination of what is currently going on in amerikkka, my sentiments about white people have fluctuated between what Dr. Khalid Muhammad used to assert and what Minister Louis Farrakhan suggests. But, I’m leaning more toward Dr. Khalid Muhammad’s viewpoint. Now I hear somebody asking, “Why is that, Brother Arinze?” I’m glad you asked. It’s because of what I see going on in amerikkka.
In South Carolina, I see a Chinese store owner, Rick Chow, aged 60, shooting a Black teenager, Cyrus Carmack-Belton, aged 14, in the back because he wrongly thought that Cyrus stole bottles of water from his store.
As a result, I see a Chinese man found not guilty in the shooting of an innocent Black teenager who did not steal anything from his store or threaten him or his son. I see the “worst whites”.
In Texas, I see a Black teenager, Karmelo Anthony, trying to get out of the rain during a high school track meet and seeking shelter in another team’s tent. A white teenager tells him he has to get out of there and shoves him. That’s a battery. And according to the law, when a battery is committed against you, you have the right to defend yourself. Not to mention, Texas is a "stand your ground" state. Under Texas state law, there is no duty to retreat from a threat in locations where you have a legal right to be, such as public spaces, businesses, or your own vehicle. The tent where Karmelo Anthony sought shelter from the rain was a public space where Anthony had a right to be. Unfortunately for the white teenager, Karmelo Anthony defended himself and stabbed him. The white teenager died.
As a result, I see a jury, without a single Black person on it, convict Karmelo Anthony of murder and sentence him to 35 years in prison. I see the District Attorney (DA) is white. I see the Judge is white. I see that both the DA and the Judge are friends of the white father whose white teenage son was killed by Karmelo Anthony in self-defense. I see the “worst whites”.
In Washington, D.C., I see the Right Wing of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) promoting white supremacy and misogyny. They exchange the Black robes they wear during the day for white hoods and robes at night.
The Supreme Court, across several judicial rulings led by its Republican-appointed majority, has emphasized that as long as there is a partisan reason to draw new congressional or state legislative maps, it’s legal. In addition, SCOTUS “Justice Samuel Alito leaned on an erroneous claim that Black voter turnout now tops white voter turnout, in his Callais v. Louisiana ruling that gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1965”. (1, 1)
Alito wrote in the ruling that “present-day intentional racial discrimination” (2, 1) must now be proven in claims that state congressional maps rob minorities of opportunities to vote for their preferred candidates. He further claimed that Black voters now have higher voter turnout rates than white voters, in his opinion that the Voting Rights Act no longer needs to correct for historic voter suppression and obstruction against minorities.
However, The Guardian found that Alito relied on a faulty data methodology to arrive at that conclusion. Instead of comparing the turnout rates of those actually eligible to vote, Alito based his analysis on the total population over the voting age of 18, regardless of voter eligibility.
Because of the aforementioned recent decisions of one of the most racist, corrupt, misogynistic, and partisan SCOTUS in U.S. history, Tennessee Republicans passed a U.S. House map that splits the state’s last Black majority U.S. House district in Memphis across three seats as they attempt to flip the last Black-held district.
I see SCOTUS, MAGA, and the Redneck Crackers in Red State legislatures who are engaged in gerrymandering the Congressional maps and/or the legislative maps in their states to suppress Black voter turnout and decimate Black Congressional representation as the “worst whites”.
In the nation’s capital, since the inauguration of president Pedophile, I see many of the remaining gains of the Civil Rights Movement dating back to the 1960’s have been eradicated in the name of white supremacy.
I see Donald Trump, his entire administration, and the Grand Oppressor Party (GOP) members sitting in the U. S. Congress collectively as the “worst whites” with a few worthless Sambos in the mix.
As a people, we are currently confronting turbulent times in amerikkka. The dark clouds of despair, doom, and depression dangle over the innermost depths of our disconcerted souls. But let me remind you that our people have struggled through slavery, Jim Crow, mass incarceration, the war on drugs, and Trumpism 1.0 in this wicked country, which was led by white demons from the pit of hell. And because we are brilliant, resilient, Black people, with whom God sides, we are still here.
Before amerikkka was a country, there were Black people. And long after that Old Orange Bastard is dead in his grave and his soul is burning in hell, there will be Black People.
I want to remind you that trouble doesn’t always last. Therefore, please know that Trumpism 2.0 won’t last forever. Let not your hearts be troubled. James Russell Lowell was right when he said, “Truth forever on the scaffold, Wrong forever on the throne, Yet that scaffold sways the future, And, behind the dim unknown, Standeth God within the shadow, Keeping watch above his own.”
The powerful and potent words of Kendrick Lamar resonate in the recesses of our souls as we traverse troubled waters. Kendrick says:
Alls my life, I has to fight, nigga
Alls my life, I—
Hard times like, "Yah!"
Bad trips like, "Yah!"
Nazareth
I'm fucked up, homie, you fucked up
But if God got us, then we gon' be alright (3, 1)
Black Brother and Black Sister, let us unite to boycott white institutions that have eliminated their DEI programs. Let us unite to Buy Black and support our own Black Businesses. Let us unite and continue building our own social-economic-educational-political institutions so that we can operate independently of the white supremacist-controlled systems of amerikkka. Let us unite to support the unification and total liberation of the African continent under scientific socialism. And let us organize ourselves within this wicked country in the fight for our liberation.
Let me end by saying fuck the “worst whites”.
Marinate on That!
